Bakekujira

150.00

The Bakekujira is a Japanese yōkai that takes on the form of a ghostly, skeleton whale. Swimming near the surface of the water, the Bakekujira appears on rainy nights near the coastal whaling villages accompanied by strange birds and fish. It is said that the apparition curses the village it visits with disease and plagues.
