Haunting near battlegrounds and abandoned graves, the Gashadokuro is a giant skeleton formed by the spirits of those who died from war and famine but were unable to be properly buried. Fueled by resentment and pain, the bones of these victims amassed together to form the Gashadokuro. They appear at night trailing the sound of rattling teeth and bones, quietly stalking their victims, crushing their bodies and biting off their heads.
