Found among many myths including Phoenician, Etruscan, Roman and Greek mythology, the Hippocampus is a sea dwelling creature that has the upper body of a horse and the body of a fish. It is a graceful, loyal and a secretive creature that lives in deep waters feeding on the plants that grow on the bottom of the ocean. According to Greek and Roman mythology, the Hippocampus drew the chariots of the sea gods, Poseidon and Neptune.
