The Kongamato is a pterosaur-like creature. First sited in western Zambia, Angola and the Congo, stories tell of the Kongamato attacking small boats on the rivers and swamps near its nest. It is described to have a wingspan up to seven feet, red or black in color, bat-like, with a long, prominent beak.
