Mermaid

200.00

First recorded in Ancient Assyrian folklore, the Mermaid is an aquatic creature that is half-human and half-fish. She has the upper body of a beautiful, human woman with long flowing hair; her bottom half is covered in scales and form a fish tail. While stories of the Mermaid vary throughout the world, this creature can often be a sign of misfortune to sailors. Seeing one may be an omen of shipwreck.
